Case Management

Case Management is proving for many to be the single most effective route to improving efficiency in the workplace and yet when it is broken down, it is so simple and limitless in its approach that any areas which require improvement can be swiftly achieved. Personnel attain a greater sense of belonging within a team; they have a central point for the selection of data, giving focus to the needs of the firm as a whole and not to the requirements of an individual department or member of staff. All employees utilize the same information entered on your software, thus ensuring practices are continually updated firm wide. All data automatically links to documents that are in turn grouped together in an Agenda.
An Agenda is a listed workflow, denoting the pre-determined route a case should take. All actions are linkable to the diary and can be sectioned to your specifications, obtaining a list of dates for completion deadlines, case reviews, court dates etc.
All event Agendas provided for each work type where case management is involved, can be modified or new user defined agendas can be set-up. Sub-agendas can also be invoked and then merged together, e.g. Divorce, Children, Sale of Property.
Events can be set to being actioned, suspended, or not required for particular cases, agendas also automatically load the diary where appropriate. Actioning an event will call upon the associated document, and select the pertinent “interested party” and any associated variable details. There are unlimited case variables with work type association (data associated with the case, entered for either information or document linking purposes) and the case variables as used in document production can also be numerically calculated. Conflict checking is also available when the other side are entered onto the database.
The Interested Party database can be user defined. Details are entered by category – Counsel, Experts, Banks, Insurance companies etc.. There is a variable search function and contacts entered can be linked to any type of matter.
User access is tailored using a password system that ensures only those with the relevant ‘access rights’, are allowed into the required modules.
Case Management streamlines the workflow within any department. It links a matter type event structure with interested parties (associated others) and the diary then produces associated documents where required.
There is a facility for a full document history and retrieval system and time recording is automatically set up for documents or Non Document related Time Recording and/or Diary History. The Case Management system can be modified and amended to suit any type of work. Changes are straightforward and intuitive. Any document from your computer can be added to the history of the file.
The system can be purchased either as a complete unit, or in a modular version. i.e. only Conveyancing, Personal Injury etc.
